Turning 5

I have kids, and I greatly appreciate photos and time. They tell me how far we have become, and for all those wonderful moments I am truly grateful.

My eldest is turning 5 today. She can read simple sentences. She loves school and reading. She wants to take up piano lessons because the teacher gives out stickers to his students. She is a caring big sister to every small kid. She still loves pink, that hasn't changed. She would like to own a pet dog, and would like to call her Lana. She dreams of being a farmer someday.

As parents, we would like her to be a positive contribution to society. We do this by being role models ourselves, believing more is caught than taught. We shape them into being responsible people, and help them know their natural 'bent'.

Dearest Lois, your future is as bright as your twinkling eyes. Our prayers go with you always and we are proud of you.
