I've been teaching the kids our real names, just in case. I had no problem with Lois. She loves question and answer moments. Carlos proved difficult to train.
Me: "Carlos, the real name of mommy is Marita. Can you say it?"
Carlos tumbles carelessly in bed not minding what I said.
Me: "Again, Carlos! What is the real name of mommy?," growing impatient with our little boy.
Carlos: "Kutcharita!" (teaspoon)
Daddy rolls on the floor laughing.
Tickled with his dad's reaction, Carlos calls me Kutcharita whenever he hears the key word real name.
