Got this from BabyCenter.com community. Mamaku is short for mama's haiku, an adaptation of the Japanese poetry which restricts the number of syllables used per stanza. There are even books about this if you want to dabble on some Oriental poetry. I particularly agree with these mamaku's. Here are some of my favorites:
Busy, crazy, joyful, messy, somewhat smelly! - Lest236
Loving every minute, learning every day. - Erica
Day off? Not for a mommy! - Nicole
Pregnancy-$8,000,labor-$12,000,motherhood-priceless. -Cindy
The hardest job I’ve ever loved. - Melodygt

Lost in transition
We've moved to another temporary place while we're constructing our own unit. This one is the farthest but the biggest of all we've stayed in. It's complete with a garage, a mini lawn, a back garden and a dirty kitchen. The place is quite unmaintained though, so when we came here, we had to do a major clean up. I particularly hate the mosquitoes since they feast on my two vulnerable angels. We've pulled down the curtains, removed extra rugs and decors and trimmed down the plants outside. Daddy Paul also brought home last night those electric insect killers which are used in restaurants. Hopefully these will keep those bugs at bay, plus of course the thick layer on layer of OFF lotion I apply on them. I'm not sure though if I can use the anti-mosquito lotion on my Baby 2 since he's just seven months old June 2008.
Path of least resistance
Lois is becoming more willful by the day. This time, she insists on not getting cleaned up before going to bed. When the weather is a bit cool, I give in. But there are times when she's all sweaty and smelly yet she still wouldn't go to shower. I've been running out of tricks up my sleeve already.
Her nanny, on the other hand, has given up on her. I can sense that she prefers Baby 2 over Lois. He doesn't fight the system, unlike his older sister who fights without conceding. Nanny Irene has followed the path of least resistance.
