Praise God it's over, one big hump behind. Lois' baby dedication last Sunday went well. And we credit all our family and friends for waking up early to be part of this special event. Most came from the province, Laguna for Daddy Poh's relatives, and Bulacan for mine. They all woke up early on a Sunday morning to make it on time. What great love for Lois, and for Poh and me. To all of guests, our warmest thanks!
As God has blessed us with Lois, we dedicate her back to God for He alone knows what's best for baby. Poh and I are mere stewards needing guidance as well.
Coach NT
His presence to officiate the baby dedication was an answered prayer. As senior pastor of Bread of Life, he attends to many things and lately, he hasn't been around during Sunday worship services. I particularly prayed he would be there because I find him most 'newbie' friendly. And since most of our invitees (85% of Lois' godparents are non-Christian) are first-time Onstage attendees, life coach NT's aura and humor are perfect. But as usual, God's ways are far higher and better, for He not only made sure life coach NT was there, He also threw in life coach Gina, Bread of Life's chief of overseas pastors, to give the day's teaching. Daddy Poh said it was really good. Too bad I missed it, as I accompanied Grandmama wit Lois outside.
While the Sunday service was ongoing inside Onstage, some late guests came in trickles. It was quite fortunate we were there outside to caution their shock as some were first time to be in Greenbelt, and others had not the slightest idea regarding Christian Sunday service. Yes I heard remarks questioning Daddy Poh and my decision to embrace this new walk. Some were uplifting, and others, I'd rather not talk about.
Godparents
They were originally 18, but party planning trimmed it to 17 - also Lois' birth day. We chose each one of them for we want Lois to imbibe their good ways, and be inspired to become like them.

We are honored to have them as Lois' godparents. And our prayer is that Lois would grow up to become the best she can be for God, through their guidance and inspiration.
Our special thanks to all those who attended, friends from Bread of Life, friends from work, relatives from Laguna and Bulacan. Lastly, deep gratitude and warm hugs to Lois' Grandmama and Lola Inang - for waking up early and traveling to Manila, attending the ceremony and party in Makati, giving more than what we expect, and shaping Lois' Daddy and Mommy with all the love and care, making Lois the charming and jolly baby she is now. God be praised for all of you.
