I have heard this guy speak and I say he makes sense. I admire him-his guts, wit, humor and faith in God. He's such an achiever in whatever he does. Whether it be in film, GMA Film's award-winning Rizal, Muro Ami and Death Row; business, PLDT's raking in big bucks in terms of profit and market share after being the most lukewarm company, is now definitely the industry leader; family, writing. The list is endless because whatever role he plays he does it with vigor and zest. Yet he remains humble and humorous. When I heard him speak-along with other great speakers Francis Kong, Patricia Evangelista, Kiko Pangilinan, Roselle Ambubuyog, and Dr. Josette Biyo-during Master's Touch 98.70 FM's Business Matters anniversary, he brought the house down.Well, they all did in their own unique ways. That day was a powerhouse of Pinoys under one roof. Bamboo's Pinoy Ako would have been a fitting theme song, because it would really make you feel SOOOO proud to be Pinoy. Anyway, I digressed. Mr. Jimenez, during his turn to speak was cool, humorous, friendly. Very credible.
And now with his Silliman University speech, I agree with every bit he's saying. Hit the nail on the head. Discipline and good execution are values that would make everyone top of mind, and therefore successful, in any field chosen. Plus the Bible's in-order-to-be-great-you-must-be-least success formula and love for the country (stay or if you must go abroad, show the world how great Filipinos are and when you come back, GIVE!) are principles I want our precious Lois to catch and live by. Oh, I'd only work again for someone if it's for this guy.
