I have a confesssion to make. We still share a family bed, even while Lois is some days shy from being four years old, and Carlos being two and three months.
I don't know, but the bed magically fits us all. At early morning, it even expands. I guess because we are all huddled together due to the cold dawn breeze.
Our mattress is as old as our marriage - since 2004 May. It has endured countless bed wetting but still remain dutiful. Once the kids move to their own separate rooms, or when our budget and resolve allow it - we may dispose of it for a newer one. Until then, we are all cozy in bed all of us.
This is why I am ok with my two kids. Another addition and it would make the bed much smaller.
I feel complete with our girl-boy kids. We've settled in well in our latest home. Adding or changing anything about it seems like disturbing a quiet pond.
Lastly, all four of us, plus nephew would like to expand on new grounds to conquer. Paul is getting a teaching license, wants to be able to impact the next gen. Jordan is enrolling in pc troubleshooting. We are letting the kids choose what summer classes they may attend - but I'd limit it to arts, music or any new skill. As for me, I'm keen on knowing about handmade paper and recycling.
The team's complete. Mission's set. Let's go conquer!

Children mean security in old age; they bring with them the brains and hands needed to raise living standards; they provide laughter and enjoyment as well as headaches; they bring each other up and learn to socialize easily and naturally, and pass on the family name and family values. This is the way it is, and few will be convinced otherwise, at least while the continent remains so undeveloped.
