Imagineers
Lois is now three years old. She gets tired of going to meetings with me, she sometimes choose to stay at home, which is better. She is interested with going to school but is still shy. She does not join in when we attend Sunday School.
On her third birthday, her Ma Dahls gifted her with a Hello Kitty toy cellphone. Most of the time, I find her playing with it.
Lois: Hello? Yes, ok. Bye!
Me: Who was that, Lois?
Lois: Strawberry Shortcake, mom!
As for little Carlos, he can now say 'yellow' and 'no more'. His vocabulary skills are getting better, but all round things are still balls to him. Oranges are balls, ceiling lamps are balls. Even wheels are balls.
ConversationsMe: Carlos, say 'dudu'.
Carlos: Charmingly quips, 'Dudu!'
Me: Wow, Carlos is very good. Do you teach him how to speak, Lois?
Lois: Snobbishly says, "No. Bawal! (It's not allowed!)"
Carlos: Bawal!
Oh my little parrot!
