Marathon Walker
Our little ate Lois, we're slowly familiarizing her with the term so come November when baby no. 2 has arrived, she'll be more in the proper mindset (hopefully), is a very untiring walker. Whenever we're out on Sundays, we let her walk as much as she likes and so far she's enjoying every small step. The sights of the restaurants we pass by in Makati plus the jolly praises of passersby egg her to walk and walk. Sometimes she stops to touch the nicely colored tile or the lively water fountain. She loves to bend over to pick up objects, she's even learned to include that move in her dance routines. I call it the touch the floor step. But her balance sometimes gets lost when she's playing hide and seek with her Ate Mhagie. Out of excitement, her feeble stance gets knocked off by her trembling knees eager to run. Oh baby, you'll learn how to run in no time!
Blocks Master
Tonight, we were very much impressed with her motor skills and muscle control. She was able to place three wooden blocks on top of each other. When she finally made her tower fall, she clapped her hands to express delight. We're so proud of her! Daddy Poh thinks she has observed her Ate Irish, her friendly neighborhood playmate, put all the blocks together and has learned how it works. I think its really perfect timing - she's matured enough to accomplish the feat of steadily putting things on top of one another. And oh, have I already shared how she now tidies up? She's learned how to put things back in, before it was all about taking objects out. Ü Nice, tidy baby!
Baby #2
ObG Dionisio confirmed through TVUS that Baby Boy was 7-8 weeks already. For the first time last Saturday, I saw our darling angel #2 growing eagerly through ultrasound. Everything seems ok, Doc said. She gave me pre-natal vitamins and advised me that by mid-November, or even earlier, I'll be a mom twice over. I felt both scared and excited. Things seem so incredibly normal yet so incredibly unique.
